2014 Audi Q7 vs 2014 Acura MDX
Metro Detroit Drivers, Read This Before Driving Home a 2014 Audi Q7…
One of a range of popular luxury crossover options available to Metro Detroit drivers, the 2014 Audi Q7 has been seen in the streets with increasing regularity. It’s a nice vehicle that has many hallmarks of luxury such as:
- A 280-hp 3.0L V6 engine
- Leather upholstery
- Rearview camera and telematics systems (optional upgrades)
Drivers who want modern features like these might be better off with another vehicle, like the 2014 Acura MDX. Acura’s luxury crossover offers many of the same features of the Q7 but also adds on so much more. To begin with, the MDX comes with a 290-hp 3.0L V6 engine, but despite the power, it gives drivers greater efficiency than the Q7 too.
The 2014 MDX with 6-speed automatic transmission gives drivers an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 28 mpg on the highway, while the Audi only gets an EPA-estimated 22 highway mpg.
Other traditional luxury vehicle markers like rear heating/air conditioning controls, telematics, a rearview camera, a power moonroof, and more without the luxury-level pricing of the Audi. Drivers can get in the driver’s seat of a 2014 MDX for only $42,290 (MSRP),** but the Audi runs $47,700.
Acura provides drivers with more features and a more fuel efficient and powerful engine that is backed by Acura’s 72-month/70,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. Audi only gives drivers 48 months/48,000 miles of powertrain warranty.
